Dr. Juby Thomas has a decade of teaching and research experience and an industry exposure across diverse media platforms like Journalism, Photojournalism, and Public Relations. She holds the credit for numerous articles published nationally and internationally in Newspapers, Magazines and Online Media.
Currently her articles and columns are published in two newspapers and in a magazine. Dr. Juby is an excellent resource who adept at collaborating academics with industry resources and bringing in a great amount of outside support from businesses and professional networking throughout India
Juby was invited as resource person in several national and international conferences and seminars. She conducts sessions on personality development, leadership skills, life skills, social media addiction, research methodology etc. in India and abroad. She has published 09 research articles in reputed journals and attended several national and international seminars where she presented 15 research papers and won 2 best paper awards. She was also invited as resource person in several national and international conferences. She organized a UGC sponsored National level seminar in the year 2015 and completed a UGC minor research project in the year 2016. She is also the BOE and BOS member of 09 prestigious institutions in India.
Juby received an MPhil in Media studies specializing in New Media and MS in Communication with a specialization in Visual Studies from Christ University, Bengaluru and Doctoral degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Mangaluru. She has also secured UGC NET in Mass Communication and Journalism. Prior to joining Kristu Jayanti College, she was working as an Assistant Professor at St Aloysius College, Mangalore and received ‘SAMBRAMA’ Award by the college for excellence in service for 3 successive years.
